 #  Logic Model Resources

There is no single logic model that we require for the grant application. You may use whichever model you are most comfortable with that enables you to most fully describe your initial plans for the development of your community’s mental health system of care for children.  These are 2 resources that you might want to look at for background:

  • There is a comprehensive list of logic model resources at: http://www.cdc.gov/eval/resources.htm#logic%20model
  • W. K. Kellogg Foundation offers a development guide in the use of logic models in bring together planning, evaluation, & action at: http://www.wkkf.org/Pubs/Tools/Evaluation/Pub3669.pdf
The communities that are funded for the CMHI will revise and expand their logic models during the Planning Phase of the funding period.  ILCHF will work with the Evaluation Team to identify a logic model that will be used as a common tool by all of the CMHI-funded communities.

#  University of South Florida Research & Training Center for Children's Mental Health

The Research and Training Center for Children's Mental Health at USF's Louis de la Parte Florida Mental Health Institute was initiated in 1984 to address the need for improved services and outcomes for children with serious emotional/behavioral disabilities and their families.

Since that time, the Center has conducted research, synthesized and shared existing knowledge, provided training and consultation, and served as a resource for other researchers, policy makers, administrators in the public system, and organizations representing parents, consumers, advocates, professional societies, and practitioners.

Please note:  ILCHF's RFP is seeking to address systems for all children.    The Foundation staff find the research papers and tools on this site useful.   http://rtckids.fmhi.usf.edu/default.cfm
