  1. Focus Area Funding:

    In its focus areas, ILCHF's formal method of funding is generally done by using a targeted "Request for Proposal" (RFP) process.  Understanding that innovative and time sensitive projects may not fall within the timeline and/or objective of a specific RFP but are fundamental to meeting the goals of the focus areas, ILCHF does accept Letters of Intent/Applications for review.

  2. Innovation/Emerging Needs Funding:

    ILCHF also designates each year a portion of its grant making dollars for those opportunities are innovative programs or emerging needs in children's health care in the state of Illinois.
