2011 Regional Oral Health Meetings Illinois Children’s Healthcare Foundation (ILCHF) is committed to improving the health of all children in the state of Illinois. In 2007, ILCHF embarked on an ambitious Oral Health Initiative with the goal for all children to have access to quality oral health services in their communities and a new culture of awareness to exist throughout the state about the interconnection of oral health and overall health.
Since the Foundation’s inception, ILCHF has partnered with communities to construct, renovate and purchase equipment for over 175 operatories and three mobile dental vans. These investments have enabled local communities to recruit, hire and retain over 125 oral health professionals and made it possible for over 100,000 children throughout the state to have access to a dental home.
This year is a pivotal year for the Foundation’s work. What role should ILCHF have as we look towards the future? To answer this question, we need your voice. We have scheduled five regional, statewide meetings to solicit your input on the next phase of our efforts. As a valued partner committed to the oral health of Illinois children, we hope you can join us at one of the following meetings (all meetings will be 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Lunch will be served):
